Meet the Team
Nina, Dental Assistant
As a dental assistant, my duties include assisting with all back-office functions, such as inventory, sterilization, and basic lab work. I started working in the field of dentistry in 2004 after graduating from Pima Medical Institute. I enjoy helping patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile through our dental care and education in oral hygiene, and helping patients is also the best part of my job.
I am originally from Tucson, AZ, and my family includes my mother and father, two brothers, a gorgeous nephew and beautiful niece, and my dog, Bae-Bee. When I’m not busy at work, I enjoy dancing, nature walks, spending time with family, and shopping.
Melinda, Registered Dental Hygienist
My duties at the office include periodontal therapy for our patients. I have been in the dental field since 2006 and with Dr. Chiara since 2007. I enjoy working with Dr. Chiara because he has a wonderful way of speaking to everyone, making them feel comfortable and welcomed. Helping people is my favorite part of dentistry, and I enjoy our office because of my coworkers and our patients.
I am a native of Tucson, Arizona, and in my spare time I enjoy reading and watching movies. Something you might not know about me is that I graduated from Northern Arizona University!
Susan, Office Manager
My duties as the Office Manager are to schedule appointments, and discuss finances and treatment plans with you. I have worked in the field of dentistry since 1981 and I’ve been with Dr. Chiara since 2005. I love working with him because he always has a good story or fact to share. My favorite part of my job is talking with patients and helping people feel confident about themselves.
